Image via WikipediaOnce Christmas has come and gone, you may be wondering what to do with the tree.... Just tossing it doesn't seem very sustainable (particularly if it's not a real tree - please don't toss an artificial tree - it's a huge waste of resources and also takes up a lot of space). Some areas have Christmas tree recycling programs, which will turn your used tree into mulch for free. Some will let you have the mulch for your garden or yard, while others will use it for local parks or schools. Either way, this is a much more responsible method of disposal.
